Community building:First steps
Mozilla is built on the idea of collaboration and we promote building communities to When you want to start a community in your region or if you feel there's a potential for a community in some topic, there are several things that you can do that may make the process easier.
- Select the goals of your community - the goals may be very specific like "creating extensions" or very vague like "promote Mozilla approach in your country". The set of activities may vary from localization of software, to evangelism, marketing or just sharing passion to Internet.
- Set up a website - Website is usually a good central place for any community. It allows you to talk, share ideas, gather people or store your content. You can create a mini website in the "business card" style or a powerful community website that will contain a forum, blogs, news, and other modules.
