Marketing/Disreputable Behavior

It is a great help to Mozilla if community members can report behavior that might be considered harmful to Mozilla's reputation. If you see someone doing something disreputable with Mozilla software or trademarks, please just let us know about it and we can figure out what, if anything, we can do about it.

So, if you see people doing any of the following, we would really like to know about it:

Of course, anyone may modify Mozilla software, but once modified, it may no longer use our trademarks without permission. If someone is distributing a modified version of Firefox and still calling it Firefox without permission, that is a violation of our trademark policy.

Protect The Fox

If you encounter disreputable behavior involving Mozilla trademarks, you can report it through the Protect the Fox site. If you are not sure, you can also contact the trademark team.
